I don't own a guitar but my brother once owned a sixties-era Gibson Barney Kessel model guitar.

I just yesterday played a new CD of old music. Barney Kessel playing behind Lester Young's tenor. Both monsters, and the music was simultaneously friendly and shocking. What did your brother play on that guitar?
